Each of these juices offers us a journey and it is here at the border of India and China that our bags are put thanks to the Mandarin Basil scent.
Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria collection
Aqua Allegoria perfumes aim to take us to the most beautiful gardens in the world. Thus, they reflect the characteristic scents found in some countries. Whether it is India, Italy, California, Reunion, Venezuela or Indonesia, each of these juices has the gift of making us travel. Guerlain perfumers thus travel the entire planet in order to select the scents characteristic of certain regions. Of course, these raw materials are then processed with all the know-how and quality of Guerlain. Thus, Aqua Allegoria perfumes are like miraculous recipes capable of transporting us from one place to another in a snap of seconds. This time the brand has chosen to combine the pulp of Chinese mandarin and the crunch of Indian basil. These are two plants considered to be gifts of nature, of equal nobility and intense aroma. Also, like every Aqua Allegoria, Mandarine Basilic is contained in a case corresponding to a modern variation of the famous Bee Flask created in 1853 for the Imperial Cologne, a true emblem of the Guerlain house. The aromatic freshness of Aqua Allegoria Mandarin Basil h2>
Guerlain called upon perfumer Marie Sallamagne to create the fresh scent of Mandarine Basilic. From the start, it does not hide its energizing and sparkling side. Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basil begins with a combination of clementine, tangerine and blood orange. Everything turns out to be pulpy, juicy and very invigorating. Likewise, freshness is omnipresent in this fragrance and the whole is accompanied by the Mediterranean luminosity of orange blossom as well as the airy aspect of white peony beaded with ivy leaves. It is then that the basil deploys its singular aromatic scent. This customary plant in our dishes and in our gardens is here green and almost spicy. It resonates with a single breath with green tea before giving way to the enveloping sweetness of chamomile, amber and sandalwood. In general, Aqua Allegoria Mandarin Basil is a sparkling and luminous juice that evokes the smell of a lunch on the grass by a river. Close your eyes and you could almost hear birdsong from here!
Every year since 1999, the Guerlain house has offered its perfumed waters in the beautiful collection of Aqua Allegoria. The aim of this collection of perfumes is to bring together rare raw materials from nature and from all over the world in fragrances. In 2007, the great perfumer Marie Salamagne composed for Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basil with radiant and sparkling scents from Asia. p>
Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic or the travels of Marie Salamagne < / h2>
Under the aegis of Jean-Paul Guerlain, the Guerlain house launched in 1999 a collection of extraordinary waters designed for the most part from the riches of nature. The idea is to design compositions with sober formulas in order to highlight two rare and unique raw materials in each bottle. To do this, the descendant of the beautiful Guerlain dynasty has surrounded himself with the greatest noses that French perfumery has to offer: Mathilde Laurent, Karine Dubreuil Maurice Roucel, Sonia Constant and Marie Salamagne.
In this Regarding Marie Salamagne, she was chosen to compose first of all the fabulous Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic, then in view of her success she collaborated with Jean-Paul Guerlain for Aqua Allegoria Angélique Lilas, Aqua Allegoria Figue Iris and finally Aqua Allegoria Laurier Licorice .
Indeed the very first collaboration of the perfumer for the Guerlain house turned out to be particularly successful as Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic was praised for its exceptional freshness with perfect hold, a rare thing for a citrus scent, a fresh water what’s more.
A luscious and intense scent of mandarin for Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic
If the talented nose stood out for the Guerlain master with Aqua Allegoria Mand arine Basilic, nothing is due to chance! On the contrary, this pretty 2007 water has been able to highlight a mandarin that is already overused in perfumery by offering it like a treat from the end of the world in a case of vegetal and aromatic freshness of tender basil.
Although for the first time, these two beautiful ingredients come from different countries, China for the mandarin and India for the basil, Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic does not in any way betray the spirit of the collection by offering these marvels from the end. of the world ! All the more so as to our great happiness these luscious citrus notes will combine with the exotic freshness of a green tea note to provide a dazzling start. However, the designer did not forget to bring forth the splendor of floral notes that suit Guerlain perfumes so well thanks to peony, chamomile, or the very sunny orange blossom.
The woody but of course always sensual depths of amber woods, sandalwood and amber echo of course the famous Guerlinade accords while bringing a new sophistication to this decidedly very pretty bottle from the Aqua Allegoria collection.
“ Mandarine Basilic is a sparkling and cheerful Eau de Toilette, a unique duo full of light and lightness. “Guerlain for Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic.
