The Absolute of perfume La Femme Prada
Since 2016, in addition to its prestigious wardrobe, Prada has also dazzled us with its expertise as a perfumer, in particular with its perfume duo La Femme and L’Homme Prada. Today, these two already cult essences are reinventing themselves for our greatest pleasure and become collector editions. Focus on the most feminine of them: La Femme Absolu by Prada.
The Absolute Woman turns the temperature up a notch!
La Femme Absolu is a fragrance that does not lack temperament and that you notice from the first breath. Thus, it begins with the fruity freshness of blood orange and peach. However, these velvety ingredients are immediately counterbalanced by the glow of Jamaican pepper and chili. The heart of La Femme Absolu de Prada, meanwhile, becomes more floral. It combines orange blossom, immortal and neroli. This luminous breath, meanwhile, is quickly joined by a smoother and more seductive base. La Femme Absolu by Prada ends with a combination of tolu and vanilla balm.
Prada gives us a new bottle
La Femme Absolu by Prada comes in a particularly luxurious bottle. This one takes the silhouette of its predecessors. Thus, it opposes a completely smooth and straight front face to a much more rounded back. In addition to its originality, this shape is particularly suited to female gestures. A gold leaf is integrated in its front face, giving it a very shimmering appearance. Moreover, this also affects the cap of this perfume. The back of La Femme Absolu de Prada, meanwhile, is decorated with a pattern directly printed on Saffiano leather, a material widely used in the world of luxury and renowned for its strength and resistance. Here, La Femme Absolu’s Saffiano leather is covered in a black, red and burgundy geometric pattern, a style the we also rediscover in the Prade store located in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle II in Milan. The name of the brand, meanwhile, is displayed in relief on its front face, with elegance and discretion.
The Prada Man and Woman, complementary beings
Through these perfumes, the Prada house expresses all the quintessence of its perfumery and its style. The feminine and masculine universes are redefined. They are opposed and are also very complementary. Prada uses their contrasts to better highlight their personality. According to Miuccia Prada, “There is the idea of La Femme Prada and L’Homme Prada, but in reality, they don’t exist. There are many. “. La Femme Absolu is for all women, whatever their personality. This is a typically Mediterranean fragrance with a strong, particularly charismatic and unequivocal temperament. Halfway between innovation and tradition, it is a juice of exceptional quality.

In 2016, the Prada brand presented La Femme Prada, a woman who made up a sensual olfactory couple with the Prada Man. Two years later, Prada makes us dream once again with the Absolute Man and Woman. La Femme Prada is a sensual and extremely floral essence, enhanced by a gold-colored bottle. With the Absolute Woman, the temperature rises a notch, and we discover a most luxurious fragrance. Spicy, even really spicy, the fragrance La Femme Absolu Prada is aimed at Mediterranean women.
Danièla Andrier, the star of the Prada house
Once again, perfumer Danièla Andrier created the composition of Femme Absolu. If she works for the Givaudan company, Danièla Andrier has composed almost all the perfumes for the Prada house. Born in Heidelberg, Danièla Andrier arrived in France at the age of 15. For her, perfume is the thread of childhood memories. She says “Perfume is a common thread. I remember all the scents of my grandmother and my mother. My aunt wore Chanel 19, a very refined scent that reminded me of autumn leaves. The perfume accompanies our present like a little music and it has to be powerful in order to leave a mark after our death “. Very talented, Danièla Andrier is above all very intuitive and particularly admires Miuccia Prada. We owe Danièla Andrier great perfumes such as “Candy Kiss, Infusion d’Iris, Luna Rossa” by Prada or “Le Monde est Beau” by Kenzo.
The passion of the Absolu Prada Woman h2>
The composition takes off on an unlikely association, but ultra dynamic, because it combines blood orange, peach and chili. The peach originates from South China. It will reach Persia first, before reaching Arabia, Mesopotamia and Egypt. It was not until the 16th century that it was cultivated in Europe. THE peach was a privileged fruit in the heart of the garden of Versailles, since there were already some forty varieties! In perfumery, the peach note is very popular. However, and since it is not possible to extract an essential oil from the peach, the note is reproduced in the laboratory, mainly from the molecule “gamma-undecalactone”. The peach offers sweet, fruity, juicy and apricot tones. The heart of the Absolute Woman is floral and intense and combines immortelle, neroli, broom and orange blossom. In 1680, Marie-Anne de La Trémoille, Princess of the Ursins, also known as Princess of Nerola, fell in love with a perfume with which she filled her bath with these flowers in order to embalm her body. She also used inordinate amounts to perfume her clothes, gloves and the decorations of her Roman palace. As she received Italian society, this emblematic perfume of the Princess of Nérola quickly became fashionable in Rome, and the name “Neroli” was adopted to designate the essential oil of bitter orange blossom. In perfumery, neroli gives off floral, suave and luminous tones. Finally, the base of the composition is ultra sensual thanks to the presence of vanilla and tolu balm.
