Prada and the catamaran
First of all, to better understand the universe of Luna Rossa Sport perfume, it is important to know its origin. In fact, before being a fragrance, Luna Rossa is above all the name of the catamaran which Prada has entered into the America’s Cup. He has been sailing since 2000 in this high level sailing race. Many consider it to be the most demanding and coveted sports trophy on the planet in terms of water sports. In this sense, Luna Rossa Sport is a fragrance synonymous with obsession, dedication, prowess and dynamism. Indeed, this great sailing race brings together unique knowledge in terms of design, engineering and sport. However, it is precisely this complexity that we find in the perfume Luna Rossa Sport. This one is as fiery as the forces of nature letting off steam in the heart of the ocean. It offers us a spectacle similar to those of grandiose boats cutting through the foam. It is inspired by the competitive values of sailors and bears the name of the victorious team of the Prada house. Luna Rossa Sport pays homage to a true maritime legend. He is thus endowed with an irreproachable quality, a palpable emotion, an incentive to travel, and a constant passion. Luna Rossa Sport pays homage to a true maritime legend. The energizing masculinity of Luna Rossa Sport
Luna Rossa Sport is a fragrance created by perfumer Daniela Andrier, already at the origin of the very first Luna Rossa in 2012. Its scent is both fresh and very dynamic. It begins with an aromatic and spicy combination of lavender, juniper berries and ginger. Bergamot and citron also add a more citrus facet to this juice. Then, Luna Rossa Sport envelops itself in an unexpected smell of hay gasoline associated with ambroxan. This raw material paves the way for a more enveloping trail. This one is wrapped in tonka bean and heliotrope. Vanilla brings here a more syrupy and carnal warmth. Musk makes everything more sensual and clearly plays its seductive side. Everything is presented to us in a bottle made by Yves Béhar. Rectangular in shape, it is displayed in very clean lines. Its color code, however, has changed. It is now covered, on its upper part, in a very contemporary metallic color. Its underside, for its part, reveals a red glass wonderfully symbolizing the image of a dazzling finish line.
