Guerlain publishes a Meteorites perfume in homage to its powders in beads
The brand is just as specialized in perfumery as in cosmetics. Thus, it is not rare to see these two universes intertwine to form one and the same whole. This is precisely what Guerlain offers us with its brand new creation. The Meteorites Perfume is a fragrance that is directly inspired by the beauty powder of the same name.
Meteorites, Guerlain’s famous powder pearls
Guerlain’s Meteorites were invented in 1987 and literally revolutionized the world of beauty. It was the very first loose powder to come in a compacted form, in a multitude of multicolored beads. Since that day, Guerlain’s Meteorites have never ceased to be talked about. Each color of these beads has a specific function. Some reflect the light. Others limit redness. All have in common to enhance the beauty of women and perfect the radiance of their skin. In a stroke of the brush, Guerlain’s Meteorites release a veil of infinite lightness. However, it is precisely all this that we find in Guerlain’s perfume. It is both airy while flooding the feminine beauty with unparalleled luminosity.
The metamorphosis of meteorites into a floral, fruity and musky fragrance & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp;
It was while visiting the Guerlain cosmetics factory that Thierry Wasser, the official brand perfumer, had the idea of creating this new perfume. He decided to translate the smell of the famous Meteorites powders in the form of a fragrance. Thus, it is all the excellence of this popular and globally appreciated product that we find in this tender and slightly powdery essence. The idea was to offer, through this juice, the fragrant breath of rice powders of yesteryear, which our grandmothers put on their faces. The result is a timeless fragrance with a very nuanced scent. Guerlain’s Meteorites Perfume sets off with a very fresh, fruity and vegetal scent. Bergamot is associated with apple and green notes. Then, all the femininity of this essence shines through her heart of pink and violet. Little by little, Le Parfum Meteorites by Guerlain is enriched with a woody breath. It ends with the airy and pure tenderness of white musk. On the bottle side, Le Parfum Meteorites is presented in a rounded bottle echoing the small box traditionally containing Guerlain’s Meteorites. Its pale pink color is also a nod to the powder that settles on female skin. Finally, the whole is nicely decorated with a label strewn with countless balls of different colors as are the traditional Meteorites. This limited edition is presented to us in a 100 ml container. finally ends with the airy and pure tenderness of white musk.
