The new men’s fragrance Mr Burberry indigo
For the record, it is inspired by the famous black Burberry trench coat while associating it with the effervescence of London. After being reinterpreted in a more intense and nocturnal form in 2017, it once again gives us a whole new face. Focus on Burberry’s latest creation: Mr Burberry Indigo.
Mr Burberry Indigo offers a new aromatic freshness
Like its first version, Mr Burberry Indigo is the work of perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. Nevertheless, this one chose to transform in a considerable way the scent of this juice. He abandoned the sensual and urban smells of the first versions of Mr Burberry for a stroll by the sea. Mr Burberry Indigo is indeed a nod to the color of water. It offers us a maritime promenade and seems delicately rocked by the sea spray. Its composition brings together the freshness of citrus fruits and aromatic and woody flavors. The rendering is both invigorating and invigorating, loaded with dynamism and deceptively relaxed. Mr Burberry Indigo appears to be a particularly springtime fragrance. Its scent begins with a Mediterranean freshness of lemon and rosemary. Then, its English elegance resurfaces in a powdery violet accord. The freshness is always omnipresent thanks to a breath of mint. Finally, the virility of Mr Burberry Indigo takes over in a base of oakmoss still wrapped in amber.
Burberry’s 100% British communication for its Indigo version
Mr Burberry Indigo is revealed in the emblematic bottle of this collection. It must be said that this container fits perfectly into the history of Burberry. It echoes in many ways the brand iconic trench coat. Its cap is reminiscent of the buttons on this jacket. A gabardine knot is attached to its collar, reminiscent of the fabric designed by Thomas Burberry himself over a century ago. The whole is particularly elegant. The visual of Mr Burberry Indigo is in perfect harmony with his advertising campaign. To embody the image of this new juice, Burberry has set its sights on Josh Whitehouse. This English musician and comedian is a real rising star who never ceases to wreak havoc with his dark gaze and his body covered in tattoos. Here, he appears dressed in the branded trench coat, giving us a glimpse of his bare skin. Josh Whitehouse was photographed by Alasdair McLellan, a famous English photographer, on the British sea shore. As you can see, the Burberry house has taken great care to preserve a perfect harmony between its bottle, its communication and the scent of its new juice. The result is a condensed freshness that is already among the most anticipated juices of the year 2018. A little more patience, Mr Burberry Indigo will be available in three formats from the middle of April. the Burberry house has taken great care to preserve a perfect harmony between its bottle, its communication and the scent of its new juice. Burberry and its historic and now cult trench coat have always offered us their very British universe which enjoys cultivating its past as much as offering us brilliant new products. When it comes to perfumery, Burberry does not hesitate to cultivate this clever marriage of eras in original perfumes which sing British praise with punch and elegance. Mr Burberry, male alter ego of My Burberry, would be the very embodiment of this man who is both elegant and daring. Mr Buberry Indigo, still composed by Francis Kurkdjian, will play even more with the contrasts of this decidedly elusive man! p>
Mr Burberry Indigo or the exalted freshness of a man’s perfume of “disheveled elegance”
The famous Burberry trench coat never ceases to turn heads and it is always worn with class, distinction but above all with a very trendy spirit. Far from having stopped at the manufacture of its trench coat, Burberry offers couture collections where traditional know-how meets the most modern trends, which is sure to also influence Burberry perfumery.
If Burberry perfumes were first offered in feminine bottles, men have never been forgotten by the brand. On the contrary, Burberry men’s fragrances will always be as classic but largely as daring as women’s fragrances. Mr Burberry, composed by Francis Kurkdjian in 2014, will fully correspond to the values of the brand which continues to proclaim its British roots through “so British” scents while highlighting them with modernities and impressive daring. “The idea was to compose a perfume which would be the olfactory equivalent of a house trench coat: easy to wear, timeless, transgenerational, sophisticated, but not too dressed …” & nbsp; Francis Kurkdjian on Mr Burberry for Vogue.
The man from Mr Burberry Indigo, a pretty version of 2018, will therefore not be so different from that of the original bottle. On the other hand, it will take us much further thanks to its oceanic and fresh accords, indigo colors, which remind us much more of coastal Britain than its large urban capitals. Thanks to Mr Burberry Indigo, the city dweller of Mr Burberry opens up to the open air…
Lemons, violets and woody sensualities for Mr Burberry Indigo always more contrasted
Like Christopher Bailey wanted it for Mr Burberry, Francis Kurkdjian has developed for this new male juice a fresh and contrasting composition which perfectly represents the man who wears the Burberry trench coat. For Mr Burberry Indigo the perfumer has added tangy zest and touches of powdered retro violet to increase the striking contrasts of this new variation.
My Burberry Indigo therefore opens with intense lemon freshness embellished with aromatic notes of rosemary, signature of the original bottle. Lavender’s heart is gone, on the other hand it is replaced by a note of mint, once again reminding us of the spicy freshness of the British sea coasts. This time no spices but rather a pretty violet flower which brings its powdery roundness to the invigorating breezes of Mr Burberry Indigo. As for the depths, Francis Kurkdjian has managed to preserve the beauty of the warm amber and sensual woods of the original bottle to create, as always, in this Mr Burberry Indigo hot colds as intense as they are surprising.
